Bound By Your Own Erection Part II (Guys Only)

In Part I of this series I discussed how to make a penis clamp out of some tape, paper and string.  In this part you'll learn a new design that is stronger, more comfortable to wear and remove, and can be adjusted to the right fit.  Here is a quick and dirty drawing of the device to help visualize the construction:

You'll need to purchase some industrial strength velcro from a home improvement store.  Usually a pack comes with around 9 feet of each side, so you'll be able to create a few projects with one purchase.  You'll also need fishing line, and obviously some scissors.  You cannot use string or nylon because the velcro will begin to tear the threads apart.  Fishing line works great because it's strong, can be tied in knots and it too is cheap and innocuous.

Cut a 7 inch strip of the hook sided velcro and peel off the tape on the back side to reveal the adhesive strip.  Be sure to not let anything touch the adhesive as it's extremely tacky and will be difficult to remove.

You'll need to create a lattice of fishing line.  This means one piece of line cut to 7 inches long.  Then you'll want to cut a foot long piece of line and larks head knot it around the center of the 7 inch piece.  This will be your anchor line.  Finally create a series of short 1 inch lark head leads along the 7 inch line, these will help reinforce the lead line between the two pieces of velcro.

Now cut a 7 inch strip of the loop sided velcro and sandwich the fishing line lattice work between the two adhesive sides.  Now you have a self locking velcro loop.  Attach a metal ring to the end of the anchor line using a standard sport fishing knot like so:

You now have a device that can be wrapped around your erect penis.  Adjust the diameter for a comfortable fit that won't slide off your erection.  Choose either the loop side for a comfortable fit, or the hook side for a slightly painful side if you prefer.

Because the velcro is industrial strength, it's difficult to open the loop once sealed, especially when it's around your sensitive member.  It's also difficult to open around your wrist with only one hand, so you can make a set of these for your wrists and ankles to make a good spread eagle setup.

Be sure to trim off any overlap between the two velcro pieces otherwise you'll have a painful time removing it from your penis.

Christmas came early this year - electronic bondage safe

So I just got to unwrap an early Christmast present and I couldn't wait to blog about it.  My wife found an electronically locked security box.  It was a cheap aisle-displayed gift from Target and so I wasn't able to find a large stash of them online.  It's called a Superex Safe and it's made by Superex Ltd in Canada, but they don't list the product on their website just yet - http://www.superex.com/   However here's a knock-off I found at Office Depot Online - Sentry Safe Security Box

The basic premise is the box is battery operated.  Which is not safe to use as a bondage device because if the batteries died you wouldn't be able to access the case by code.  So instead, you can run an extension cord into the case - which conveniently has a hole for the security cable.  That extension cord can power an electronic timer outlet which when in the on position can power a 6v DC converter to the security box.  When the box has power the system accepts the code, when it does not have power the box is locked shut.

This means you can lock the box with 15 minutes on the electric timer outlet, and your security code is useless until the timer turns on.  As an added bonus the safe comes with two backup keys, which can override the digital code.  Put the keys on an extended duration ice release mechanism and you have a good backup for a power failure.

I went ahead and picked up two boxes, and I'm trying to get in touch with the Superex in hopes I can do a group buy.  I'll post anything I hear on boundforum.

I've checked out a few Targets in the Texas area and they all seem to carry them in Target branded boxes near the holiday section.  T

My Wife's First Suspended Sex Experience

I would just like to appologize to my neighbors and any passer-by's that might have heard the screams of ecstasy a few nights ago.  She screamed so loud when she came that it scared me a little - thought a binding slipped or something.  Unfortunately in an attempt to recreate that night we had to stop the scene quickly because she began to get dizzy.  Turned out to be just nausea from the swinging, but it's always something to be concerned about.

We're going to try again after the holidays.  After the family members are done stopping by and after our hectic lives are back to normal.  I'll be able to post some more details on the right by then too.  We're guessing the blindfold and dark room were a bit too disorientating, but I won't rule out restricted blood flow.  Nausea is one of the first symptoms people often get when they lock their knees and are about to pass out.

If anyone is looking for that last minute naughty holiday gift, then I highly recommend installing a suspension rig in a ceiling - a high one if you have it.

Why the long absense?

Well with the holidays and Q4 work all piling on at once I haven't been able to enjoy as much personal time as I'd like.  But I have some good things in the works.  I'm currently working on some video's demonstrating strict and inescapable self bondage, special knots and when to use them, and a variety of examples for tying your wrists together without being able to undo them.  I've got a picture and movie gallery going for content to enjoy while you sit helpless and tied.  And finally I'm working on some software to help discover and share bondage ideas and links.

Anyway, I'll try to keep up with this through the rest of December but I expect that my time will be spent doing vanilla activities with friends and family.

Happy Holidays!

Ice Release Device

This is a standard timed release mechanism that uses ice and simple physics to attach rope to an anchor point.  There are many varieties in the design, but I have a few tips to make it safe and secure.

I typically use a small metal ring with a piece of string attached to it using a lark's head knot.  This is easy to undo, and cannot be removed once attached to the anchor point.

Next I place one ice cube in a small ziplock bag and squeaze all of the air out.   This prevents water from dripping everywhere, which prevents damage to hardwood floors and mold growth under carpets.  A little bit of moisture will still develop due to condensation, but that should evaporate without any harm.

I then roll up the ziplock bag into a tube and insert it into a sock.  I like using socks because I always have at least one that's missing a pair, and they're fairly strong.  And if I ruin one, it's no big deal.  If I'm using this method for suspension purposes I use an umbrella sleeve - they come on new umbrellas and are typically thrown away or lost, but they're the perfect design.

I finally slide the sock through the ring which is sized just right to prevent the ice from slipping through until enough melts away.  I usually tie a rope to the end of the sock using a lark's head which won't slip off the neck of the sock.  This gives me plenty of rope to secure me but keep me away from the device to prevent tampering.

I typically use just one or two cubes because being wrapped in plastic without air slows the rate of melting significantly.  One cube will typically last me a half hour.  But the size of the ice cube, the diameter of the ring and the ambient temperature of the room can all vastly change the melting duration.  It's always best to experiment separately from any bondage scenario.

I once tried to implement a story online where the protagonist used 12 ice cubes - I did half the number for the test and after 5 hours of playing around waiting for the device to release I realized how dangerous recreating the scene blindly could have been.

Nothing like being suspended 26 feet in the air

I just got down from a few hours of suspension play.  My house has a two story loft ceiling in our living room, which allows me to suspend myself that high.  However I'm sad to report that my ceiling harness lives no more.  I got what I paid for and the cable could not hold up to the small crank shaft.  So aparently a couple hundred suspensions is all you get for 80 dollars.  However I was able to replace the entire rig with a manual rope harness.  Not quite like pushing a button on a wireless key, but it does have its benefits.

Today I disovered that having a ring tied to the ceiling (in the attic rafters) and a ring tied to my suspension harness and three wraps of rope between the two rings creates a pully efficient enough to keep me suspended off the ground with two 20-pound weights.  This weight ratio of course relies on a few variables including my weight, the size and type of the rings and rope so don't just attempt what I've described without safety precautions.

After rigging everything up - body harness tied as described above and a two 10 pound weights attached to the end of a 30 foot piece of rope I slid off the upstairs banister and swung gently to the center of the anchor point.  I then slipped on two ankle-thigh straps and attached them to the ring that is holding the harness.  Then I tied a constrictor-knot around my wrist-cuffs and tied the rope holding the cuffs together to the same ring - though using a slip-knot that I can use to escape.

After a while the swinging slows to a gentle rocking.  My wrists were a little tight, but nothing I couldn't handle.  I had a dvd on loop to provide some entertainment and of course there's always the risk that someone comes to my house with a glass front door that does little to blur the view.  I might turn this setup into a story, it has a good starting point for a woman to be discovered and I've always wanted to try my hand at a sex story.

When my wife  comes home tonight she'll have a fairly nice suprise waiting for her.
